The dimming street lights
Fade into the dawn
Streets will feel the
Reverberation of footsteps
Pulsating with city life
Buildings with lights on
Windows like twinkling eyes
Lazy morning
Will be swathed in words
Partially awake souls
Won’t let go
Of the sleepy desires
It takes time
To adjust to the light
With steaming cup of tea
And some words to spare ©
It sure does. Great poem!
