Philosophy or the love for wisdom is a relentless pursuit. Every day it is a new dawn, new opportunities, and new realizations. Philosophy is intrinsically woven in the tapestry of life.
Thoughts are spontaneous and they emerge from the journey of life, past experiences and your interactions with the world around you. They may be positive or negative and thus impact the course of life.
We all have personal ideologies and they may differ or contradict the popular theories of life. Being an individual living with these contradictions require courage and a strong will to adhere to them.
The path that you have chosen may be lonely, but you are not alone. You are walking on the path of your philosophy and you have carefully chosen this direction. You may find very few fellow travelers and sometimes almost none to share your thoughts.
The most important philosophy is not to dwell too much on the past, yes, do learn from the mistakes, to transform the future and make it more worthwhile. Worrying about the future will only unsettle your present moment. The best you can do is to be prepared and face life as it occurs.
The philosophy of not indulging in malicious intent, frivolous and unnecessary talks, demeaning people around you will make your life more meaningful. Do not comment or judge without knowing the truth and accept the diversity of life.
Do help when someone requires your help, be thankful you were approached with trust and please do not shatter that belief.
In the journey of life, be an individual with clear thoughts and intent and try to be more accepting about life. Not everything will turn out the way you want it to be, but you have your choices.
Choose judiciously and live without regret. You can control only certain things- your inner world, your thoughts, choices in life, and your attitude.
Mean what you say, don’t utter words because they make you appear more articulate and enhances your oratory skills. Don’t take people around you to be gullible and live behind a façade.
Philosophy of life is simple and do not try to complicate it unnecessarily. Do not blame others for your predicament, when you have made the wrong choices. Ponder over the wrongs, rectify them or sort out the issues.
Some situations in life may be beyond repair and may not be fixed, ever. You have tried your best with all efforts, take solace in that and move on with life. Do not unnecessarily victimize yourself, love yourself and live with dignity. You win some and lose some.
Wow! That was truly awesome, love your philosophy on life Amitav, ‘move on with life’ emphasizing the Buddhist belief of ‘be here now’ for the greatest peace of mind and happiness. Excellently penned, deeply heartfelt … when’s the book coming out?! 🙂

That’s very kind of you to say so, Deborah. I just pen down what I really feel about life. And yes, with your encouragement, you never know, one day a book may be a reality. 🙂
