Supine I lay here reminiscing the old
So many memories that have been in the cold
Brilliant flashes of light bring forth the untold
There were many shy memories that had to be cajoled
Memories of yesteryear brought the present in its fold
Linking the past for few moments that will not be retold
Many contemplations after, the heart cannot be consoled
The memories will be locked away and new journey will unfold©
