Glorious Life

You have successfully arrived in life and can journey with confidence, the day you have learnt to, with dignity, remain calm and positive against the barrage of unnecessary sarcasm, criticism, rejection and being ignored by the ignorant people.

It takes strong will, determination, and true education to deal with such commonplace and cliched behaviour. If you are on the right path, you will achieve success in spite of all the hurdles. Β

      1. Oh my goodness! I can not believe that! and you know what you are right it is theirs….I’m glad you keep writing! πŸ™‚ My thoughts are even if someone does not like what you write there is no need to comment to you over it…they could move on to something else.

      2. I never mind. One can hurt me if I give them the space and opportunity to do so. Otherwise, they are just words for me. Lot says about that individual(s). But as a writer I know this is a part of the journey, to face sincere criticism, and mostly not so sincere ones. πŸ™‚

      3. Yes very true a person can only hurt you if you let them…I believe that truly. I remind myself ‘I before E’ Intelligence before emotion… hahaa it really works and brings me right back to think Im just glad Im me! πŸ™‚

      4. That’s the spirit. Very well said. With gratitude and humility, one has to keep moving ahead. ‘I’ should be ever kind and embrace life with positivity. Emotions must be balanced and Intelligence and conscious approach to life makes this journey satisfying. πŸ™‚

      5. This is the very reason I came to blogging to reach beyond my known and connect with as many like minded, not exact but positive like minded people as possible. You I feel are one of them for certain!

      6. Blogging and writing can certainly open up the world if we keep an open mind. There is so much we can learn from each other and every meaningful conversation can lead us to the next phase of the journey. I am glad, you feel that way and I am happy to be talking to you. Like minded people who are open to each others ideas. I feel grateful.

      7. As do I! I find this whole experience to be a fantastic step in the right direction for me…away from social media, facebook for a year now and not once have I ever thought to go back or have I missed it one bit! This space holds such promise and inspiration to want to stay connected with people I am grateful for it each day πŸ™‚

      8. I stay away from Social Media too. No Instagram and Facebook, or any other. Some of them I have no clue what they are. πŸ™‚ As you said blogging is a wonderful experience, as expressing ideas allow self-growth and opens up the mind to create. Creativity can rejuvenate the mind and storytelling helps express our thoughts to lovely readers across the globe.

      9. Yes I just had someone ask me yesterday if I have a twitter and I said I have an account set up from a while ago but I dont even know how to use it hahaa! Im sure if I had wanted to know it would be easy to figure but I find those sites to be heavy and filled with way too much information on subjects I need not know nothing about…the creative outlet I have here is incredible and Im finding people that to be honest I want to pay attention to not just because I’ve known them for 20 years or for five minutes (fb) I follow who I choose, who catches my attention and keeps it and I love that so much!

      10. I am on Twitter though. I post my own quotes and share micropoetry and being a Vegan I support that cause on there. Today, we have information available 24/7, but knowledge is diminishing (as there is less analysis and critical thinking) which is a cause of concern. For me, the amount of time we know a person is not important, because I have known strangers living under the same roof and been friends forever but still oblivious and insincere to each other. Human relationship is a never ending debate. πŸ™‚

      11. I can relate to that as well…I have taught my daughter to know ‘Just because you know someone don’t think you know them’ Truly as I was teaching her I learned to know it more and more myself!

      12. Sometimes I feel (not to offend anyone) whether we have truly evolved in our thoughts and whether we are ready to proceed to the next level of existence. I think we are repetitive and conduct ourselves the same way from antiquity. We have modern technology but apart from that I have doubts about our intentions.

      13. I think many people have become complacent and mistake it for being truly content. It is possible its bordering being lazy with their thoughts and actions. They get to a place of comfort and just stop. Maybe they feel trapped by their circumstance as if there is no way out. As for modern technology I go back and forth thinking its the root of all evil haha or then I love it for giving me good conversations with a person Ive just met from half the world away! I can not speak for any other but myself I know I am ready for whatever is next to come!

      14. I like the pragmatic tone of your comment. You have a balanced view of this world and surely know what to choose by keeping out the negative by being aware of them. Being informed and aware helps us with informed decisions and life becomes meaningful. True, if it was not for technology we would not be having this conversation. πŸ™‚

      15. Well thank you for that. I take that as a real compliment. Its possible to some I seem unrealistic with my love of all things pink and girlie and just my general demeanor and playful nature but those closest to me know my looks are deceiving. If something does not make sense then I will have no part of it or I will make it make sense haha! I believe I will end the battle in my mind between the pros and cons I have over technology as it is it surely seems to be serving a good purpose and even I can not argue with that! πŸ™‚

      16. You’re welcome. πŸ™‚ Society’s realism and reality is what I find to be unrealistic. πŸ˜€ The kind of definitions of life and how we should conduct ourselves is outrageous. We have so many cliches to label people. Technology used judiciously and to talk to the right people is fantastic.

      17. Yes well I’ve never been one to follow any of society’s rules. I’m too busy being me to care πŸ˜€ and fantastic is the perfect word for it! πŸ™‚

      18. Conformity is no assurance that life will treat you well. It’s just a way to feel accepted and that’s being propagated everywhere. Being an individual in the true sense, being confident about one’s ideologies requires immense resolve. So, there’s freedom in being ‘YOU’ rather than being a great caricature. Be fantastic and be ‘YOU’. πŸ™‚
