The Spirit weakens
Due to onslaught of lies
Inner world becomes barren
Acerbic feelings seep deeper
Roots shrivel and die slowly
Momentary feeling of freedom
Disentangled from the Truth
Lure of darkened world
Intoxication of anonymity
Deep into the sea of gratification
Deluge the senses instantly
The Spirit becomes a driftwood
Will be washed ashore someday©
Then the opposite is certainly true. Disentangled from a sea of lies, the Spirit soars and renews life all around.

When one is aware that life is confined in the web of make-belief and a reality that is detrimental for the journey, it becomes easier to disentangle. Otherwise, life continues with the mundane flow- feeling exhausted (spiritually) every day. Desires have a way to engage the Spirit.
