When words are meant to protest
Feelings transform into burning embers
Every word singes the heart
More they are read, burns the deeper layers
Words have this burning desire to destroy
As embers bury deeper into the Soul
Damages the layers of life inch by inch
Mercenary hearts strike in stealth
Wages a guerrilla war against unassuming souls
Flaming words burn with intensity
Arson to cause widespread damage to trust
Also, burns the hands of perpetrators
Embers also bury themselves deeper into their heart
Universe has a collective comeuppance©
You speak/write the language of heart and soul… This we gratefully have in common my friend🙏

Written so abstractly and with guarded distance.. I admire your shield and as always your eloquence.. Feels like you read my mind!

Thank you, Taruna. Not only you write poetry eloquently, you have an amazing skill of interpreting the real essence of poetry.
