A Lonely Street

A lonely street acts as a connector

Flows down towards the Main Street

Here, night settles down quickly

Disturbances of human life, a rarity

The empty road feels like a tunnel

Night camouflages it into ethereal walkway

Soft night feels delicate, to absorb the shocks

Tired feet  of a vagabond traveler is soothed

Cool waves are the signals of the Universe

Flowing past, to hand over the cryptic signs

A lonely street stretches itself towards unknown

Touching the horizon and plunging deeper

The hidden chambers come as a surprise

But the cryptic chants awaken the mind

Soul’s ablution with showering Mantras

Here, nothingness is experienced, forever

A vagabond walked along a lonely street©

  1. What a beautiful poem you’ve written on aloneness and how it raises consciousness. lovely words and your imaginations narrate this realization in an amazing way.
