Dry Words

Wring the words till the last drop of feelings

Hang them to dry in the scorching sun

Stern looking alphabets arranged haphazardly

Their bleached facade reflects hollow promises

Soon, the words will develop fine cracks of ignominy

Will be stacked at one corner and forgotten forever

With time they will crumble away, leaving behind dust

Words will have no relevance and their existence forgotten©

  1. Yes words we do tend to forget .. But actions and acts, times spent together.. now that’s what gets embedded in the memoires and memories..
