Reflections

Serenity reflects from the still waters of a lake

One of those profound moments when nature’s meditative

Looks inviting, body wishes to unburden the worries

Cloaked in ethereal feelings to walk across the lake

Sublime spirit of the day enthralls the soul to experience eternity

With nimble steps enter the hallowed world of pure bliss

Today, the world has stopped to acknowledge the omniscience

Life has a new meaning and changes course freely

Reflection of a reflection illuminates many unknown dimensions©

  1. This poem conjures up feelings of stillness for me, I can sense a sacred hush and if I were to listen carefully, I might hear that voice in the wilderness, far away from concrete and glass. I enjoyed this meditative wander and hope to seek out some stillness during my day today!

    1. Stillness, that’s the right essence of this poem. When we breathe, we are taking in more than air; it’s a complex process of letting the Universe provide energy to sustain ourselves and also renew the relationship with the Universe.

In this meditative wonder, with practice, you can negate the negative effects, allowing stillness and nature’s secrets to guide you on the right path.

      1. No problem, Tiffany. I read the comment, actually did not publish it. Sending my prayers, and hope family and loved ones have the strength to overcome the tough times.
Wishing you a lovely day too, Tiffany.

    1. Anne, that’s great, you have picked the two important lines (well, I do not want to praise myself :D).

Let these two lines be your guide and I wish you the best. Thank you so much, I am happy this write resonated with you.

      1. Thank you for sharing. 😊 I must keep feeding the soul so yes, I’m carrying them with me. And we can praise ourselves, I believe. You write beautiful poetry so you definitely can take pride in your talent.
