The Murmurs

Trees murmur as twilight permeates the daylight

Sky is filled with a wonderful fusion of feelings

Winged messengers contemplate the nested world

Fluid reflection of the blossoming boughs is surreal

Rhythmic patterns emanate from silent interlude

Nature’s transformation becomes intriguing

Fallen leaves narrate an unknown fate in whispers

Silhouettes fill the background, reflecting mystery

It won’t be long before the stars light up to burn

There is a beautiful realization of darkness

Gradually, the daylight takes hiatus from all activity

Memories of the day will be sorted before dawn

Mystical darkness will bathe in cosmic grandeur

In solitude, listening to the murmurs was reassuring©

  1. Such beautiful lines, my favourites: “Fallen leaves narrate an unknown fate in whispers”, each time I come upon some fallen leaves, I will wonder about their untold story; “Mystical darkness will bathe in cosmic grandeur”, looking up into the night sky I will always think of the stars burning, thank you!

    1. Thank you so much.

The intriguing beauty of nature. Various moods and characters play their part and a convincing narrative continues. An untold story it is, we are too busy to even care or keenly listen to nature’s story. May be that’s the reason we are still clueless about the universe.
