Let it Stand

I’ll let it stand there for a while

Aware of its presence but observe it anyways

Read it’s behaviour and reactions to every moment

Test its patience and ability to survive

Through good and bad; resilience to question both

To remain unprovoked by nonsensical ideas

Yet, with a stern look wear out their plan

I’ll let it stand there for a while

To gather knowledge about the truth

Whether friendly or fiendish, determines its character

Now is the chance to decide

A choice to knock on that door

Dwell here with good intentions

To strengthen the foundation of existence
