Without Favour

It is difficult entering an unwelcome abode

Love that feels like a favour

Walls coloured with disdain and corners cluttered with pain

Who would live those thoughts every day?

That passive anger driving the agenda of life, without thinking twice

How much a soul can devote to negativity?

‘Tis time for the soul to decide and walk away from everything; even oblivion

Why be cloaked in humiliation?

If not for that realisation, it won’t ever dawn on the mind to embrace solitude

Being bare and stripped off all the negativities feels like true freedom

Feelings aren’t a trade-off, but benevolent when without ulterior motive
