You cannot shape the mirror by hammering it
The desire to alter the reflection and reactions
Rattled by the truth, the pounding is in haste
Hate; the tendencies to abuse and overpower
Even one’s own reflection- the mirror is sacrificed
Horror! When the world remembers the abuse
Scars everywhere, yet there’s no remedy
It’s not hunger, but some deep-rooted anger
Subjugating life with terror; cries, “that mirror, mirror”
Faulty reflections are askew, but anger won’t bend
Adorning the world with scars and scary stories
The fault lies in the mirror for reflecting the horror
Hammering the insecurities like sharp nails
To hold the shattered world together

Thank you so much. The reflections are unsettling, but the truthful eyes will mirror life’s profoundness. Time decides!
