Troubled relationship with time
Frantic hand gestures upsets its feelings
Thorny moments wound themselves- like barbed wires
Time perpetually swayed by time’s temper
Upheavals in reality and sinister transformations
Reminisces too calculatingly segregates memories
Different apartments- like uncomfortable neighbours they quarrel
Mind is a swift drifter; trying to find solace in frantic thoughts
Frail glorification of life, and touching those desert plants
Means, the fingers will be pricked by conceited branches

At times I dabble in poetry, but I’m more of a painter. On TOP of my blog
(click on the following link https://wp.me/p9EWyp-lz ) is a connection to my artblog Artnotes 2016 – if you like to see some of it – enjoy!

How beautifully you described that “Mind is a swift drifter”. It’s so true in so many ways when it comes to life.

The wandering of the mind decides the course of this journey. There is also a conflict between time- ours and the universe’s.

Indeed there is a huge conflict, I know it well as a Muslim as I read that in the Quran.
