Carrying the Burden

Evening carry the burden of the day tirelessly

It does so without a complaint; as a responsibility

Still manages to keep its tranquillity

Settles down and urges life to take it easy

Not to rush through the troubles and hastiness

Those who may not have listened

Argued with the fury borne out of insecurity

Thought, without thinking about you

Often, the burden of others cannot be unfelt

Although, twilight time is sacred

Looking closer to the soul of an evening

Reveals an affectionate soul

Willing to listen to the day’s experiences

Carrying the burden, till next time

      1. You are kindly welcome. It’s one of my favourite literary devices to employ and your extended personification spoke to me. We can learn a lot from our surroundings.
