So Much for Time

The gradual abuse of time

What it holds within one cannot imagine

Sometimes pristine, but it still decays

Unseen by the unperceptive world

Its vagaries are well known

All the erect silhouettes bow down

To the fury of time

What can human pride do?

Nothing! Ego is futile

Invented war and crimes

For territories with hues of anger

Time will be more unrepentant

It will dig into the reality

That will be gone in a moment
