Not Every Day

Early morning, smoky screens, filtered light

Indifferent time, but irritates the sanity of life

Half-awakened posture, not a masterpiece

Is it laziness or perfect apathy towards busyness

Difficult to know from a reticent fellow

One positive outcome is that voices are mellow

Filtered the baloney, but some swearing is heard

Still preferable, the laid back  observations

They are quite keen, incisive, and critical

It’s still early to set the pace against a rush

Different morning, but stories will be the same

We are used to it- used to being closer to this reality

Faults aren’t erased, but chasms open up

It feels as if the day yawns really wide

Always tired, even at the start of the day

Smoky screens, sticky situations, tiredness
