Cheerless

A plaintive day sits on the pinnacle like an unpolished stone

Woebegone feelings, a steady stream of unkind afterthoughts

Placid darkness is the most dangerous at complicated moments

Feels idyllic to the temporary journeyers after cursory glances

Rare chances of looking beyond the thick veil of stoic images

A poniard fails to cut thick reins of desolation around the area

Tumultuous undercurrents snatch the early signs of courage

Unfortunate to have a future waiting to witness the decline
