Trapped In Sleep

Inappropriate sleep takes me to a distant reality

My spirit had neither thought of it during the recess

Feeling of surrender to a predacious nature of sleep

I could not get the time to express my disapproval

A weak no from me did not hinder its plans

From a fiendish journey, there’s no escape now

Heavy eyelids, a numb body, mysterious rotation

In me, the reality spread its temper like a stream

Ferocity unleashed without my consent

Scarier became the day, more sinister than darkness

Trying to avenge some unfinished rivalry

An intolerable world won’t bother

Faces appear, speak to me in indistinct dialect

Their apprehensions, grim reality of souls

Suffering during unwanted sleep

I could not protest against a hostile reality

Anonymous, but ferociously exist there
