Pain of Today and Tomorrow

When you say goodbye to the day. reluctantly. after a sigh and a glance

Through the corners of the tired eyes, so wary of the unworthy images

Garishly painted over the incongruous objects, the homes sigh alone

Towering through the rarefied environment while spaces shrink here

Either taken away to be designed in a restrictive plan or hidden from view

Of the rightful people, who become strangers and tresspasers

Conveniently there are numerous labels to vilify them, vent their anger

Desecrating the sanctity of the last sacred spaces that have been gifted
