Receding- A Poem

Time recedes, shadow diminishes, lights fickle, I am satisfied when there’s fewer interference

Becoming less involved in mere interpretations and interactions; I like the pause, where all the moving images slow down, some grainy memories vanish too

Life is less definable, I do not even know the keywords anymore; I do not fill in the lengthy blanks with abbreviated emotions

I cannot explain anymore, but I sit in silence, pleading the space to expand, there must be something that is so still that I have to be patient

I am lethargic to travel aimlessly, daylight and twilight blend, darkness feels brighter

As a part of reality recedes, I feel like moving ahead at my pace, not looking for a destination, but that space where stillness is rewarding
