You cannot experience freedom
Until you break away from the shackles
Look at the bruised ankles and wrists
The heart cannot stay submerged in agony
Even the resilience of the mind will cave in
You have the choice to unburden
Freedom is yours to achieve rightfully
Wake up the valiant heart and pledge
You will relinquish the orchestrated machinations
And breathe the air of freedom
Fill the lungs with air and the courage to fly
Roam the wilderness and wander free
To experience freedom in true sense ©
As usual, filled with huge wisdom and insight, and yet expressed in such few, well-chosen poetic words. It touches to the heart of me 🙂 Greetings, always, Sam
