Changing Dreams

Leaves won’t respond to the frolicsome wind

Azure sighs instead of that ecstatic smile it has

Land of infinite dreams struggle to wake up

Smudged skyline and grainy vision lost in time

Eyes wish to sleep and ears repose at odd hour

Auspicious light fail to resonate with unhappy soul

Feeble rays are lost within the greyish world

Infrequent stirrings does give hope to vacant eyes

Waiting for colours to change and winds to awaken

Till then, there’s a silent prayer resonates within

While gazing at nothingness to decipher the day

Feelings of that tenderness from soul’s embrace

Hoping to capture that glint of horizon’s assurance

Such desire erase some of the melancholic stares

‘Tis but a dream eternal speaking to solitary fellow
