Poetry Without a Soul

Poetry without a soul

Is a fusion of few words

From the blank pages

Trying vehemently to obtrude

Asking the reader to read feelings

When there are none

Few jumbled words

Lost without their identity

Of feelings and the vision

Lines drop off carelessly

The edges of words wear off

Crumbling without a trace

Only to be forgotten

Words sans the life

Lives on the edge of the pages©
